And we’re back with pancake drawing! I’ve been wanting to try this out for some time, but I’ve had zero energy the past three months…because we’re expecting!!! Slowly getting some energy back in this second trimester so hopefully I’ll get to post more in the coming weeks.
I won’t be nearly as good as this guy, but we all have to start somewhere. And I always start with drawing cats and dogs!
What you need:
1. Pancake mix (and the rest of the ingredients indicated)
2. Squeeze bottle with a small nozzle
3. Small pitcher
Step 1: Prepare the pancake batter. Place 1/3 of the batter into the squeeze bottle, and the rest in a small pitcher that you can easily pour from.
Step 2: Set your stove on medium high, and brush your frying pan with oil or butter. Once the pan is hot, start drawing!
Step 3: Once your outline is brown and crispy, fill in the spaces with the batter in the small pitcher. Don’t worry if you “color outside the lines”. Lower the heat so your filling will be lighter. Or you could add a tablespoon of milk into the filling batter so it will be more runny.
Step 4: Once the batter bubbles, flip it. And you’re done!
This kitty cooked a bit too long:
But I like how it turned out anyway.
It’s a fun way to start the day with a little creativity. Hope you get to try it soon!
